Across India there has been an uproar of strikes against the governments treatment of workers in their economic policies. Private and Public sector workers are asking for general reevaluation of the governments policies that they believe harm much of Indias work force. They are also calling to light a more recent law that benefits employers and could be detrimental to employees. The strikes were organized as shutdowns, walkouts, and public protests. The government is quickly working to put forward a privatization plan that will hopefully fix some of the issues.
