Shops in Indonesia have not received any shipments of Indomie brand noodles in weeks. Ukraine is one of Indonesia's biggest suppliers of wheat. So far, we have not been able to extrapolate the effect the war in Ukraine will have on Indonesia's wheat supply. Earlier in March, Indonesian President Joko Widodo warned that global food prices have risen as a result of the conflict in Ukraine, putting pressure on the local food markets in Indonesia. Though, one local shop owner has reported that "We are not scared yet.”
