BBC, posted an article about how Ukraine Presdient Zelensky is ready to conduct a peace deal with Russia. The negoations will be conducted in Turkey later this week. BBC went on to say ,"Security guarantees and neutrality, non-nuclear status of our state. We are ready to go for it. This is the most important point," Mr Zelensky said"(BBC). Zelensky also went on to say these meetings will have to be conducted face-to-face in order both states are on the same page to conducting this matter. Putin said he will guarantee a neutral Ukraine and they cannot join NATO or EU. Ukraiane offical also went on to say no terriorty will be dicussed in the negotiations of the deal, althought Putin is hinting otherwise. Lastly in the article also mentioned, "disintegration of historical Russia". He has claimed Russians and Ukrainians are one people and denied Ukraine its long history" (BBC). These events will continue to unfold in the coming days and weeks.
