The upcoming South Korea presidential election has taken an ugly turn south. Hideous insults, lawsuits, and lawsuits have turned this election into a dangerous game. South Korea is already being ravaged by stark political divide as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how to recover financially as they try to balance their relationships with leading ally, the United States, and its top trade partner, China. Numerous opinion surveys show that both candidates, Lee Jae-myung (liberal) and Yoon Suk Yeol (conservative) have more critics than supporters, with some calling the race a choice for "the lesser of two evils" due to the growing disdain and ugliness of the campaigns. Both candidates have partaken in claims of corruption, shamanism, and even attacking and critiquing each other's wives. This has led to multiple libel and false news lawsuits
