The article I chose to write about for this weeks blog post is titled “Rescuers Search Theater Rubble as Russian Attacks Continue” by Andrea Rosa. The article is from the U.S. News. It was published on March 17th, 2022. The article is about a theater that was ruined by a Russian airstrike in the city of Mariupol. The theater was hit by a Russian airstrike and caught on fire. Hundreds of people were in the theater when it was hit seeking shelter. There was a shelter underneath the theater, so authorities are hoping people were able to take cover before they were hurt. Unfortunately, they now are going threw the rubble looking for people who either died or survived. The shelter underneath the theater hopefully was able to protect people from the fire in the theater. The war is causing so many families to be ripped apart and many civilians lives to be lost. It’s so heartbreaking to see this happening.
