Children's remains found in Mexican mass grave

Early September, a mass grave was discovered in Veracruz, Mexico. Both adult and children remains and clothing were found, and so far the body count is up to 174. Pictures of the clothing found in the grave were posted online in hopes that loved ones will be able to identify their deceased relatives, due to the fact that Mexico lacks a national DNA database. It was shocking to find childrens’ remains since criminal gangs usually let women and children go free. The recent increase of brutality is horrifying, showing that anyone can become a victim. Additionally, a tourist spot in Mexico City was also attacked this month, posing a threat to the foreigners that vacation in Mexico as well.
