Well . . . it went like we all thought it would. Trump chaired the past United Nations meeting and boasted about the United States leaving the Paris Accord, breaking our agreement with Iran, and general made outlandish statements that made the American exceptionalism video look tame by comparison. Not only did this cringe worthy display of ego tripping leave our allies with bad tastes in their mouths; it raises more concern for the future of the United States in global policy making. Also, after reading this article, I believe it is safe to say that our president is an old fashioned realist if there ever was one.
