The Swedish government as entered a blockade between the emerging far-right party gaining seats in their parliament. The Swedish Democrats are a anti-immigration populist party that began in the late 1980's. It has connections to racist and Neo-Nazis groups. This is the first time they have gained enough traction in government to have power in law-making. Currently, there is a debate on whether Sweden's center-right parties should form a bloc with the Swedish Democrats or not.
