China Cancels High-Level Security Talks With the U.S.

This article is about China canceling a high-level encounter with the U.S. known as the diplomatic and security dialogue. This shows how much tension there is between China and U.S. because of the impending trade war. VP Pence is expected to give a big speech on China's behavior concerning foreign policies. Apparently it is about China's influence on American politics. China credits the Trump Administration's sanctions as another reason for the cancellation of the meeting. These sanctions that the U.S has put on military equipment that would be coming from Russia is not sitting well with Chinese diplomats. Therefore, they believe this meeting would be pointless. I believe that this trade war could potentially be the end of the relationship that has been formed through trade and commerce. I hope that it isn't because they are our best and most valuable trade partners outside of Mexico and Canada. I believe that these problems need to be solved quickly between China and the United States. I believe this because it would be better to work together with China rather than against them.
