The US has threatened a sanction on China for the purchasing of Russian jets and air missiles which has conflicted China to ask for the US to withdraw their sanction. With China and the US being the largest economies it has posed more tension between them since they have now a dispute between this purchase from Russia. China states that it is a complete fair reason and basic rule in international relations for them to purchase from Russia and that the US should abstain their sanction. The Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) is how the US uses sanctions against Russia, Iran, and North Korea for economic or political reasons. The US is looking to protect its economic power by having China "punished" for purchasing these weapons. The sole purpose is because of the recent malignant activities from Russia.
