On Friday in the Gaza Strip there were seven Palestinians shot dead by Israeli soldiers during a weekly protest. According to Reuters, it was stated that the Israeli military resorted to live fire and airstrikes when explosive devices and rocks were being thrown at them by the protesters. It has been said that 505 have been wounded during the protest, including 89 that were shot. Two of the seven dead included two boys ages 12 and 14. According to Reuters, there have been at least 191 Palestinians killed since the protests started on March 30. The protests are held due to many Palestinians demanding that right for their lands to be returned to them and their families after these lands were taken from them during Israel's founding in 1948.
