South Korea forges ahead with charm offensive to Kim regime even as U.S. outreach cool
The article, written by Simon Denyer, talks about how the South Korean government is achieving better success with negotiations North Korean government and Kim Jong-un compared to the way the Trump administration is handling it. The South Korean government starts with establishing common grounds to the people up north in order to reach an agreement over nuclear missiles, compared to the blunt force the U.S. used. With these talks, other Asian countries are worried that the South Korean government is supporting the Kim regime, but whatever it takes to achieve peace must be made.
