A Rusting Oil Tank Off The Coast Of Yemen Is At Risk Of Exploding

Only five miles off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea is a cargo ship containing 1 million barrels of crude oil. As it rusts, it is at risk of spilling and exploding. This type of disaster would result in a major humanitarian crisis for most of Yemen. Where this cargo ship is located and its path of destruction if it occurred, is located at the entrance to many of the key ports that provide food and water to millions of Yemen citizens who receive this aid. There are many people who are invested in preventing this environmental and humanitarian disaster from occurring, so there is a major push for urgent action by international researchers and activists in the like.
