US climate envoy John Kerry said that cutting emissions is doable at this point. Multiple global leaders have come together to start talks about strengthening their own commitments to the climate crisis ahead of Glasgow. Kerry said that there needs to be a decrease of almost 50% of global emissions to get our planet back on track. Doing so could help avoid the catastrophic events that could arise from a rapid increase in global temperature. The US has said, that by 2030, half of the cars sold in the US will be fully electric. This is something that sounds crazy now, but Joe Biden is determined on making the US more “green”
