Saudi Arabia aims to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2060

By 2060 Saudi Arabia hope to be net-zero with greenhouse gas emissions. There are more than 100 countries involved in this global effort trying to suppress man-made climate change. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made the announcement. He spoke that the first ever Saudi Green Initiative Forum, which was a week before the global climate conference in Scotland.

Saudi Arabia is doing this through the "Carbon Circular Economy" approach. They want to continue using fossil fuels, and are pushing back on countries who are trying to ban in. They want to suck the resulting emissions out of the atmosphere instead of banning them.
