At Carroll school district in Texas, a secrete recording of school administrators was leaked where they tell teachers to start keeping books with "opposing viewpoints to the holocaust, that gives other perspectives". This comes shortly after a teacher was reprimanded for having "anti-racism" books on their shelves. Like any logical adult, one teacher responded "How do you oppose the holocaust?" to which the school district direction of circle and instruction responded, "oh it comes up".
All of this comes after a new Texas law requiring teachers to teach all viewpoints of widely debated and currently controversial topics.
Personally, I don think the holocaust is a controversial or debated topic but hey that's just me.
