G20 pledges help for Afghan humanitarian crisis at special summit

      It is no secret that the people of Afghanistan, especially women, are in a crisis right now. Almost everyone is trying to leave the country, causing the economy to collapse. It must be remembered that Afghanistan was already struggling before the Taliban took over, so now that struggle has increased tenfold. This has led the G20, 20 major economies,to pledge to give Afghanistan help to tackle the humanitarian crisis. Most of this aid will be funneled through the United Nations, while some of it will be given directly.
