Czech President in intensive care after holding talks on dramatic election

Before reading this article it is really important to understand the role of the president and how he has a lot of political powers. Czech has recently been having trouble with trying to get a new prime minister in office so that they can show support for the country. The president at the time was supposed to give the new prime minister before going into the hospital. This was really important because it would allow for a person to take charge of the government while he is in the hospital. There has not been a whole lot of information that was given out about his current conditions besides that he has been recently fighting disease. The president of the Czech Republic is currently 77 years old. So it sounds like he might be stepping down soon and allowing for someone else to take president.
