What past pandemics can tell us

History tells us that this pandemic will be like many others, meaning it will be hard to declare a clear end anytime soon. The bubonic plague is a great example of how that was not a few year stint but defined its own era. Living in the age of Covid-19, we can see how even advancements don't bring much progress through the pandemic. The vaccine was supposed to be the end in our heads but we're still in masks, still living in fear of a disease that continue to rip through countries globally. We are starting to get comfortable with the fact that this isn't just going to be disappear one day and life will go back to how it was. Things that mimic anti science movements of old will continue to hinder the progress that the world is making towards an eventual end, just like it always has.
