My eye was caught with the heading of this article and the horrific events that followed it. In Indonesia The Islamic state has carried out yet another attack that included three bombings. This attack took place during the day and was carried out by one family entirely that claims to be of Islamic faith. There were three separate bombs and one of them was in a Toyota minivan, the other was made into a motor scooter and the other was a vest. The most interesting part of this article was that the mother who had been riding the motor bike has her two kids with her ages nine and twelve and she initially tried to force herself into the Christian church. The security guards kept her away at first but seconds later she detonated the bomb killing the police officers and her two children. This almost brought me to tears and I couldn't believe that this would happen so soon. The bombing all took place at houses of worship within the same area and all the bombs were detonated minutes within each other. A week before this attack there was a stabbing in Paris that had killed one and injured four and this was also claimed to be an Isis attack. Overall the attack in Indonesia ended up killing seven people and that was what has been reported so far. This is another example of extremist attacking the Christian ideological values and what people hold dear and we have seen this escalate within the last few years.
