The article I had read for this week is striking to say the least. Trump in this article is reference when he was at a rally stating that he wanted to get rid of Obama care. This is really interesting because he did indeed repeal certain parts of it, but there are parts that he is still enforcing that were created by his predecessor. Republican Congressman are still troubled by the fact that the law was not completely repealed and that Trump is enforcing their opponents law that is in their eyes not helping people. Regarding to individual mandates with the I.R.S they still are doing their job the same as they were before they repealed the Affordable Care Act. Nothing has changed in regards to what the I.R.S systematically has done since 2014. The confusion behind this is that Trump has instilled in the population that he has single handedly with the help of his G.O.P in congress get rid of Obama care. That is simply not true and we can see today that some of the implications like the mandates are still effective. House Republicans want the Employer mandate to be gone and that is what they are fighting for. The dynamic between Trump and his fellow Congressman will play out rough in the midterms.
