Reactions to U.S. Embassy of Israel moved to Jerusalem
Last year President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and as he made a pledge, the U.S. embassy will be moved from Tel Aviv to the city, officially on Monday. This decision breaks with American policy over decades and many of U.S. allies as many European leaders are expected to skip the opening celebration tomorrow. U.S. is the first to internationally recognize the city as Israel since the nation captured East Jerusalem over the 1967 War. More importantly, Palestinian counterparts are not going to remain quiet about it. Two demonstrations are to take place outside the ceremony many hope this will not spark another and explode at some point as it is reported that will be the most intense week of the year, according to Israeli police.
