Trump administration to step up family separation at the border

The article I read, by Ted Hesson, discussed new orders from Homeland Security pertaining to immigration at the US-Mexico border. With a very large number of Mexican citizens attempting to cross the US-Mexico border in April, the Trump administration has decided to tighten up border strictness. They have signed orders that will likely cause families to be separated at the border, and the prosecution of adults associated with the incident becomes definite. As the new order requires, all suspected border crossers will be directed to the Justice Department for prosecution under federal law. When it comes to parents who brought their children with, it is likely that they will be forced to abandon their child to go be prosecuted. This article provided the data that in April there were three times as many illegal immigrants caught than the previous months.
