U.S.-North K. meeting likely to take place

U.S. President Trump's cancel of his meeting with N.Korean chairman Kim on last Thursday was said to be triggered when a North Korean Foreign Ministry official Che Son Hui called U.S. Vice President a "political dummy" and hinted a potential to going down to a nuclear war. However, this country has recently been provocative to the United States as for example Kim suggested at N.K.- China meetings that it is willing to denuclearize in accordance with all related nations. This could be interpreted in a way that N. Korea is not responsive to CVID (Complete, Verifiable, and Irreversible Dismantlement) legislated through UNSC which the United States has been insisting. Nevertheless, North Korea has changed its behavior and desperately wants to meet with U.S. and Trump is also announcing that his talk with the counterpart is productive and the meeting might take place as scheduled once. Trump probably did call off the meeting in order for him to first take his position as the most powerful player in this dispute and second to acquire his confidence in the negotiation with North Korea. The surrounding nations, China and South Korea are in support of this meeting and are hoping to hear good news.
