Canadian has rescued over 300 people from Syria

A Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist name Jim Estill has rescued over 300 Syrian refugees. Estill saw what was happening on TV in the Syrian Civil War and believed Western governments were not doing enough to help. Wanting to help help refugess because "it was the right thing to do," Estill spent $1.1 million USD to get refugees to Canada, he used Canada's Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program to integrate the people he helped into society. The program states that refugees can be sponsored but the sponsors must pay the expenses of the refugee for the first year. Starting with 50 families, Jim has now gotten 89 families in Canada.
