China anniversary: Hong Kong protester shot by live round
An 18 year old man was shot in the chest at close range by a police officer in Hong Kong during protests. This is the first injury as a result of live ammunition in Hong Kong since protests began and risks escalating the protests. The HKPF claim the shooting was in self-defense, but protesters argued that the officer had separated from the rest of his team and was looking for an opportunity to shoot someone.
