I read about the current status of the Tump Impeachment. Today, The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution to formally proceed with the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. However, this wasn't something that removed the president from office, it just elaborated on how the inquiry will move into a more public phase. Truly, this was the first test of support in the Democratic-controlled House for the impeachment process. All the Democrats except for two - representing districts that Trump won handily in 2016 - voted for the resolution. The end vote was 232 in favor and 196 against because all of the Republicans voted against it. Trump still continues to claim no wrongdoing throughout this journey.
