Seven dead after WWII B-17 plane crashes, erupts into flames at Bradley Airport

Shortly after taking off in a vintage WWII plane, an eruption of flames occurred killing seven people. It was reported that five minutes after taking flight, the Boeing 17 was having issues; it was not gaining altitude. There were 13 people aboard the plane, seven were reported as dead and one person on the ground was injured from the landing. "In front of me, I see this big ball of orange fire, and I knew something happened," Arreguin said. "The ball of fire was very big". The B-17 was one of 18 WWII planes that are still registered to fly.
