In this post it is in relation to the mass shooting that went down in Colorado at a grocery store. Biden addressed this boulder shooting before leaving to go to Ohio. Biden called for a ban on assault rifles and high capacity amount of ammunition. This is very sad what happened as this shooting that happened in Boulder, Colorado was at a grocery store. A gunman open fired and killed 10 people in the process during this shooting. Biden was devastated by this news and told congress to not wait any longer to enact legislation to ban assault riffles and high capacity ammunition magazines. Biden released these statements just before going to Ohio where he will be promoting his pandemic relief package. This Colorado news comes just a week after a gunman killed 8 people in Atlanta so Biden is looking to make a move on this now before anything else major happens.
