As we all know, the current and consistent coup in the country Myanmar has caused quite a lot of ruckus in the world of international affairs and politics. With the countries elected civilian leaders being overthrown by military powers, the U.S. and more specifically Biden administration has made an effort to those who have been faced with this humanitarian crisis. Biden has granted temporary legal authorization in the U.S. to Myanmar citizens living here without permission. With this being said, this temporary protection is supposed to last for 18 months and furthermore protect against deportation. In addition to this, the U.S. has imposed numerous sanctions on the military leaders and associated people at fault for this unprecedented and moreover violent coup. As someone who has been keeping tabs on this current political nightmare, it seems the situation is becoming much more violent and is now forcing other countries such as the U.S. to intervene in some way shape, or form.
