Tanzania welcomes their first female president after her predecessor, John Magfuli died. He was said to have not taken Covid-19 seriously, but after two weeks of isolation before his death, he agreed that it was a real threat. Samia Suluhu Hassan is now going to be looked at to see which approach she takes, whether she agrees the pandemic is real or not, and what measures she will take to pursue. She will be finishing off the former president's term till October. She is also a person who has sen in the ranks, with her education from England, Tanzania, and the United States. One challenge she will likely face is that she is a Muslim woman who might have to win over the support of Christians who make up some of the political party. If she doesn’t keep with what her predecessor lay before her, then she might have people pushing back against her.
