A new law was passed in Georgia to make it illegal to pass out waters or food to people waiting in line to vote. This is seen by many democrats and republicans alike as an attempt to curb voting trends, since the majority of people who have to wait in long lines to vote are people in less wealthy areas, or people of color. Many republicans see no issue with this act and think that it is a good way to keep voting fair and equal to all people, when in reality, it is a way to keep some minorities from voting.
