With there being the presence of U.S., NATO, and other allied forces in Afghanistan for over 20 years now, discussion among withdrawing from war has once again reemerged in the newly constructed Biden administration. Talks of such matter have previously occurred in the Trump administration but with such high occurrences of violence and fear of the Taliban becoming once again a haven for extremist groups such as ISIS, drug smuggling, and other acts of terror and instability within the region, concern on how quickly to withdraw troops once again hinders these world leaders from making a safe and optimal choice. As of now, the Biden administration has not made any official decisions on this topic matter.
