Vladamir Putin's visit to China for the Winter Olympics opened up a cooperation outlet between the two countries which resulted to what the Kremlin is called a "friendship between [Russia and China]" that "has no limits". Both Presidents show concern for continued NATO Expansion and the Aukus security pact between the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. They both issued a statement which portrayed their agreement on these issues. On top of these commonalities, Russia is also has expressed support for Beijing's One China policy, and therefore supports itws claim to Taiwan and also doesn't recognize it as a country. However, it's also important to note that due to note that China does have relations with Ukraine, so an invasion could potentially damage China.
