In this article, it talks about the growing frustaation by Tawian from the Air Force missions they are conducting over Tawian, Ever since Russia has invaded Ukraine, Tawian has been watching closely if a invasion were to begin in Tapei. The contributers of this article called Reuters talk about, "The ministry said the latest mission involved eight Chinese J-16 fighters and one Y-8 reconnaissance aircraft, which flew over an area to the northeast of the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands at the top end of the South China Sea". So Tawian is prepared specfic air defenses in wake of the Russia invading and becuase of the China-Tawian conflict is so similar, it creates paranoia. Although China has not formely stated they want to bring Tawian under there control, it is only assumed. If an invasion were to occur in Tawian, they relased a protocal called the "Info-Pacfic strategy", which urges the United States to help them out.
