With sanctions that have been carried out by the west, Putin has responded. Putin has warned he may escalate things to a nuclear level. Putin has become infuriated with the sanctions and feelings of the west about the war in Ukraine and has notified his nuclear forces to be on alert. Worldwide conversation is being had on what the western nations will do in response to that. But there is a huge question mark in terms of how far Putin will go.
