This article talks about how Chinese users are supporting Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. The Chinese users are also criticizing Russian protesters saying that they have been brainwashed by the United States. The article says that for the most part the "Chinese Internet is pro-Russia, pro-war, and pro-Putin". I am not surprised that a lot of people living in China are cheering Putin on. People living in China are used to their government and will like to support other people that have a similar government to them The article also mentions how journalists in China have "helped to shape a generation of online warriors who view the world as a zero sum game between China and the West, especially the US". This means that a whole generation of Chinese people think that democratic countries are against them. I would say most of the Chinese think this way because of how they have been exposed to media through their country. I do not blame them for thinking how they do, but I hope that they are able to open their mind to new things.
