Saudi Sees Cyprus as Bridge Between Europe, Middle East

This article by usnews.com talks about how Saudi Arabia's Prime Minister views Cyrpus as a "bridge" to the middle east and European Union so they can understand what is going on in the region. Cyrpus responded with they want to really focus all of their attention on all opportunities and challenges in the Middle East. Along with that connection the article also talked about how ,"The Saudi top diplomat said both his country and Cyprus have a “very, very strong alignment” regarding regional stability and terrorism “whether it is (Yemen’s) Houthis or others" and both countries both agree on the primacy of international law. Lastly Prime Minster Al Saud said that he thinks its important for everyone to stand in agreement of international law and to defend the primacy of international law or state sovereignty, a rejection of interventionism of all sorts. So this connection with Cyrpus and Saudia Arabia will be very intresting how it plays out.
