Jill Biden sent a Valentine to the country by installing a large wooden heart in front of the White House. The heart says "Three things will last forever -- faith, hope, and love -- and the greatest of these is love." Heart-shaped artwork is also displayed inside the White House from local elementary school students. But as Biden celebrates the holiday, a sign placed a few blocks away and by the father of a victim of the Parkland shooting reads, "45k people died from gun violence on your watch!" As a result, President Joe Biden commemorated the anniversary in a statement to promise efforts to stop gun violence.
