“‘The whole world right now needs to unite’: Rallies are being held across the US in support of Ukraine”

There have been rallies in Atlanta, Washington, DC, and New York among other places in support of Ukraine. As hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have fled according to UN figures, people are calling for stronger action against Russia and more support for Ukraine. Although the United States, the UK and other countries have already imposed sanctions both on Russia and on Vladimir Putin, some people think that what we are already doing is not enough. Some of the things people are advocating for is more physical support in Ukraine, or expelling Russia completely from SWIFT (the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) instead of just select Russian banks.
