On January 24th 2019 President Trump extended his own deadline to impose additional Tariffs on the Chinese. Negotiations on key issues such as American intellectual property rights have been compromised on. Even though improvements have been made no solidified agreements have been signed. The President hopes to sign an agreement sometime in March assuming the talks remain productive and beneficial. The tariffs would impose $200 billion on Chinese exports and the delay is an opportunity calm many financial markets
