Another Mexican journalist was shot and killed one morning while he was eating breakfast. According to the article, this is the second journalist to be murdered in plain sight in 2019 while there were nine other journalists that were killed back in 2018 which has now deemed Mexico the deadliest country if you are a human rights worker. In the case of Rodriguez, there is no answer to who or why he was killed, no leads at this time but the Mexican government vows to strengthen their security measures to keep them safe. The government is staying on the side of the right when it comes to this situation. In Mexico, any journalists that focus on political corruption and organized crime is the central and main reason they are being targeted.
