Saudi Arabia appoints princess as ambassador to US

Saudi Arabia has appointed Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan as ambassador to the US. This is the first time a women has held this role. this comes after a push back from the US over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi and it seems this happened because of it. It also seems to be for a new sign of the kingdom's social reforms. Her father Prince Bandar bin Sultan served in the same role from 1983 til 2005 so she spent time in Washington because of his role. this seems to be fitting for the new freedoms Saudi women are gaining and now having a public figure to look towards pushes this new light for them.
