This week President Donald Trump signed a bill to avoid another government shutdown amidst worry and pressure from the entire country. The previous shutdown was the longest in United States history and made life for government employees and officials incredibly difficult. The new bill Trump signed will avoid another shutdown but comes with an intended hitch. After the signing the president plans to call into affect a national emergency requiring over 6 billion dollars in funding for the wall barriers. The signing was made only hours before the budget deadline.
