In this article, Elie Honig analyzes the sentencing memo of Paul Manafort, which was made publicly available on saturday by the Special Counsel's Office, and offers insight into the impact of this new report. Manafort was charged with lying to a number of law enforcement agencies as well as Congress, not to mention the numerous financial crimes he was charged with. Honig believes that the harsh nature of Manafort's sentence sends a message to others that justice will prevail.
