Mr. Netanyahu's made a comment last Thursday on his state visit to Poland, where he was quoted saying " Poles co-operated with the Germans" during the Holocaust.
Later Mr.Netanyahu's office made a statement clarifying the situation, quoting " In a briefing, PM Netanyahu spoke of Poles and not the Polish people or the country of Poland. "
Through Joanna Kopcinska, Polish government spokeperson, it annouced that the Polish PM Morawiecki had a phone call with PM Netanyahu and told him that Poland was going to be represented at the summit by Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz, but after Prime Minister Morawiecki annouced on Twitter, that there was " no Polish regime" during the Nazi occupation of Poland.
Morawiecki annouced on Sunday, that his trip to Israel would be cancelled.
The meeting that was going to be taking place in Israel was for the Visegrad group to tighten their ties with the European Union.
