ISIS now controls just a half of a square kilometer in Syria

Finally, it appears that the end of ISIS, the Islamic terrorist group, is underway with only half a square kilometer in Syria being controlled by them. At their peak, they controlled more than 10 million people, ruling over land the size of Great Britain. The Syrian Democratic Forces have since launched an attack on the small town of Baghouz Al-Fawqani, and have used the wives and children of the ISIS fighters as human shields. On the other hand, the United States faces strong criticism for the decision to remove troops from Syria. Still, president Trump and vice president Mike Pence claim that this action was not a change in mission, but a change in tactics to defeating this terrorist group.
