The Pentagon will deploy another 3,750 US troops to Mexican border by Maria Clara

Today, Sunday February 3rd, the Pentagon made the decision to deploy 3,750 troops to the Mexican border which is going to complete 4,350 troops. They are set to stay at the border for the next 90 days, in which they will be in charge of surveillance the border as well as building a fence of wire around points of entry. Here are some quotes from Trump on an interview about this topic:

“It’s national emergency, it’s other things and you know there have been plenty national emergencies called. And this really is an invasion of our country by human traffickers,”

“We’re going to have a strong border. And the only way you have a strong border is you need a physical barrier. You need a wall. And anybody that says you don’t, they’re just playing games,”
