Insurgents in Mozambique abducted hundreds of women and girls, ranging from the age of 12 to 18, for profit. Many of the women and girls are forced into marriage/ sexual relations with fighters. They have been forced to march under guard to a series of camps and bases across the insurgent controlled territories. There is limited medical care, unreliable food supplies, and a constant risk of attack by government forces or mercenaries.
