Volcano in the Caribbean

Thursday an evacuation in the Caribbean occurred due to an eruption in a volcano. The volcano is known as Lou Soufriere and has been dormant for decades with recent activity jumping in the past week. 16000 people had to be rushed out of the area as dangerous flames and smoke shards were being launched into the area. People who were educated were taken on cruise ships to safer parts of the island. Moving people through the sea was a much safer route as it takes away a lot of the hazards that moving on the ground does. Now that the education has occurred the key focus is getting the smoke removed that lands in the area as it can become a dangerous situation if just left thereof if it is rained on. It's interesting to see that even in the tough times we are in now due to the covid-19 pandemic a country can still come together to do such a major task. Hopefully, the Caribbean will get the situation under control so they can get back to as much normality as possible.
